GOLETA, calif - Yogurtland celebrated its grand opening in Goleta today with free frozen yogurt and toppings for its first 100 customers.
Goleta mayor Roger Aceves attended the ribbon cutting ceremony.
This is the second Yogurtland location for owner Eui Oh and his wife. Oh said after 5 years of success at the lower State Street shop, customers wanted to see a Yogurtland open in Goleta.
Oh said he settled at the 5880 Calle Real location because of the huge parking access in the back. It will be very convenient for his customers.
Customer input is also very important according to Oh because that dictates which flavors stay and which flavors go. Due to customer feedback, some popular flavors like mango and pistachio have come back.
The opening of Yogurtland in Goleta certainly gives the city a local economic boost.
