Emilio’s Closed?

So what is really happening with Emilio’s on Cabrillo Boulevard?

When you walk up to it you will see a closed restaurant with the windows blocked off from prying eyes, with a sign on the the door and windows informing the public of a kitchen remodeling currently underway at the age-old establishment. Although the sign states that this is a temporary closure, sources close to Emilio’s say that the Italian restaurant will be closed for quite some time due to a change in ownership as well as a pending liquor license.

Management has been a little evasive when confronted about the reasons behind the closure only saying a kitchen remodeling is taking place and nothing more. However, some of the website’s most important links have been deactivated, and it’s still unclear whether the Emilio’s name and brand will remain the same or whether a change looms in the horizon. What exactly is going on with Emilio’s Italian restaurant, and for how long will it remain closed off to the public? Only time will tell.
