Big Rig Stuck On Residential Neighborhood Street

This guy takes bad driving to a whole new level. Around 2:30PM today the driver of a big rig was driving through a residential street and attempted to turn at an intersection. The road he was on was at an incline and the driver did not realize that the cargo trailer was too low to the ground for an incline of that sort. The cargo trailer ended up embedding itself into the concrete immobilizing the big rig. No word yet on whether the incident is alcohol related and/or if the driver was fined. No one was hurt.
Police were called in blocking the street and backing up traffic while a tow truck attempted to pull the big rig back down the incline. The first attempt was unsuccessful as the towing line ripped and had to be re-attached. Finally the Rig was able to free itself from the spot it was on and drove off through a different part of the street. Incomprehensible is what in the world this driver was thinking and/or doing driving on a residential street with such a huge monster. The only logical answer is that he was not thinking at all. The crowd of onlookers could not help but laugh at the misfortune of this bad driver. I wonder who is going to pay for the street damage this driver caused.

  1. Goes to show that it really is important to watch those inclines, dips, and clearance heights when driving. Great eyewitness account, Oscar.
